MMORPG game made by NCsoft. One of the greatest games I can think of. If you wanna play for free, just join L2Extreme or any other private server, they run on donations only. Lineage II has five races:
Human, Light Elves, Dark Elves, Orcs and Dwarves (which earn lots of cash, they can produce items with skills and by using materials and recipes), Orcs are the toughest race (most HP, can take more beating), Dark Elves (my personal favorites) are the more calm type, has Shillien Oracle -> Elder that have good buffs like Empower. Light Elves are pretty similar to Dark Elves but far from the same. Light Elf archers are the fastest shooters. And last, but certainly not least, Humans, which are probably the best race (...yay...) because of all the different occupations and proffesions you can take.
NOTE: THs and Prophets own :D
Guy1:Yesterday, that TH pked my level 10 human fighter... Well, my dark elf mage level 75 will show him...
Guy2:Cool. My prophet earned 10 million yesterday by buffing people.
Guy3:My Shillien Elder's empower roxxorz your boxxorz.
Guy4: That's nothin'. I've got 1200 karma.
Guy1,2 and 3:!PK with S grade at Hardin's Academy.

Get the Lineage II mug.
A game that should be given an award for the largest waste of time that people actually pay for. This game features the ability to point, click, and kill for hours, days, months, and years with virtually no rewards or gratification.
L2 Player: I played Lineage II for 14 hours straight and I FINALLY LEVELED UP! WOOHOO! I hate my life.

Lineage II is an online RPG/adventure game with a suprisingly high addiction level. Thousands of players manage to hook their daily routines to the toil of Lineage. It is a relatively simple game, in comparison to World of Warcraft. One chooses one of the six races, one of the two professions and one either a male or female. From then on, you explore your local area and hunt wild creatures, collecting various monotonous items. Learning spells of variety is also possible. However, Lineage II follows a set pattern and so character customization is not possible is very weak and narrow. There are few potions, as opposed to the legendary Diablo.

That is the game description, but I have also created an acronym very suitable to the preface of Lineage II:
LOSER INTERNET NIP EYEGASM ADVENTURE GAME ENTERPISE. Like it?
Lineage can also be used as a verb, used to insult those of us who spend hours a day playing the game (nerds).
I bought Lineage II on eBay for $29.99

Stop Lineageing around!

A MMORPG(massive multiplayer online role playing game) developed by South Corean NCSOFT in 2004. The game has a high level of addiction because of the eye candy, simple playstyle and the PvP potential. That said, Lineage II consumes a lot of time, compared to other MMORPGs. Lineage is also a very equipment-oriented game. Every 6 months or so a new sort of expansion is released, adding new skills, new areas for grinding, new weapons/armors, etc. After a Prelude and five "Chaotic Chronicles", the current version played on NA servers is "Interlude" with the new instalment, "Chaotic Throne 1" expected in the last months of 2007.

Lineage currently has five races(Humans, Orcs, Light Elves, Dark elves and Dwarves) with a sixth, the Kamael, coming with Chaotic Throne 1. Every race except for the Dwarves has a fighter and a Mage, with further expansion down the road. The players can change their occupation once after completing 20 lvl, a second change at 40 lvl and a further specialisation in their class after 76 lvl. For example, a Dark elven Fighter may become a Palus Knight at 20 lvl, then change to BladeDancer at 40 lvl and to Spectral Dancer at 76 lvl. Each change requires completion of quests. As no reversal is possible, a player must know very well what class he wants to play in the end even before creating his toon. There are 32 classes in Lineage II. Players who are 75 lvl can complete a quest for a subclass, giving them the opportunity to lvl a new class from lvl 40. There are certain restrictions, but for example, an Orc Destroyer(a fighter class) can have a Light Elf Spellsinger(nuker class) for a subclass.
